ABOUT US

My name is Jeff and My wife is Laurie. We’ve been together for almost 30 years and we love doing things together. This whole helping-out thing came about in Mexico. My wife and I retired early 9 years ago, we moved to Mexico and it was great. Small town, low prices, slow-paced. Then we found that getting help with almost anything was like pulling teeth. If your stove died… well try to find someone to call, and if you find someone, hope they show up in the next 2 weeks. I’m fairly handy with a background in mechanics and I have painted murals for galleries so I’m good with painting. Laurie is always there to help me move something, get a tool, or hold the other end. She comes up with the next move if I run out of ideas. So we decided that anything that broke or needed to be fixed, we would take a look first to see if we could solve it. Pretty soon we were changing the main display board in our stove, installing a new ice maker in the fridge, and putting in a new garburator. Soon our neighbors started asking for help with things. Some had summer homes so we would look after their places when they were out of the country Doing things like unclogging mini split air conditioners so they drained correctly, and starting their cars every few weeks so they didn’t come back to dead vehicles. We painted rooms when they wanted a change and even did murals specifically for their places. Plumbing repairs became second nature, putting up ceiling fans and installing dimmer switches was a weekly event. We just got good at what came naturally, fixing stuff and helping people! Then Cabo got too big and busy and loud and congested and expensive. We decided to move back to our home of BC but to a nice little place that still is a small town and we found it in Radium. It is close enough to Fairmont Hotsprings and Invermere that we can offer our services to the whole area of all three towns and everywhere in between. Friends who live in the area said OMG what we do is so wholeheartedly needed in the area, so Laurie and I decided to do it! If we can help with whatever project or issue you have we will.
